Description:
TUIfly.com belongs to the company TUI AG. TUIfly has the third largest German fleet after Lufthansa and Air Berlin, with more than 13.5 million passengers per year. From mid January 2007, the entire aircraft fleet, which originally emanated from Hapagfly and HLX, will be operated under a new centralised airline TUIfly.com. It will operate flights to 75 destinations in 17 countries at cheap prices and with the usual high quality. Hapag-Lloyd Flights is still representative of a reliable air traffic operator, for whom quality, punctuality and a friendly on-board service go without saying.
TUIfly will be developed into an international airline, which will in the future offer additional travel components for the tourist or business traveller on a central online travel platform.
TUIfly has its seat at Hannover airport. The two firms that belong 100% to TUI AG: Hapag-Lloyd Flug GmbH, responsible for flights and Hapag-Lloyd Express GmbH as the marketing company, will in the foreseeable future be maintained as legally independent companies. From spring 2007, the airport counters and the entire airport presence will be transferred step by step to the new company name.
