Zagreb – Pleso International Airport is the most important of the 8 commercial airports in the south eastern European Republic of Croatia.

Location:

Opened in 1909 the airport is located about 10 miles south east of Zagreb's city centre, directly by the neighbouring town of Velika Gorica. From Zagreb take the main road 30 towards Velika Gorica and then shortly before entering the city follow the signs to the airport. Those arriving from elsewhere please take the motorway A3/E70 from Zagreb to exit 5 "Buzin". Here take the main road 30 towards Velika Gorica and then follow the signs to the airport.
Passengers arriving by rail and bus head for the main bus or rail station in Zagreb and then take a shuttle bus from the main bus station to the airport.
