Syros Airport is an important nationally operating airport in Greece. It is on the south Aegean Cyclade of the same name, in the centre of this island group. The capital of the island Ermoupolis is also the administrative seat of the Cyclades. The airport is administered by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority, which is also responsible for monitoring Greek aerospace.
