Domodedovo International Airport is located 35 km south of the centre of Moscow. Domodedovo is the main airport of russia, surpassing Sheremetyevo in terms of international and domestic passenger traffic and recorded more than 15 Millon passengers in 2006.
The Airport is linked to Moscow by the Aeroexpress train to Paveletsky Rail Terminal. The Ride from Moscow Center lasts about 40 minutes and the passengers can check in themselves as well as their luggage at the station.
