Description:
|
Milan-Linate Airport, also known as Enrico Forlanini (an aviation pioneer from Milan), is Milan’s national airport in the Lombardy region. Besides this airport, there are two further airports in the Milan region: Malpensa in the north and Milan-Bergamo. Milan Linate airport is used predominantly for national flights and by low-cost airlines. Despite the fact that the airport is the smaller of the two Milan airports, the airport Milan Linate is considered a large airport. It is one of the three busiest airports in the country after Rome Fiumicino and Milan Malpensa, handling a total of 9 million passengers annually.
