The airport Doncaster / Sheffield is about 10 km southwest of Doncaster on the grounds of the former British royal air force base RAF Finningley. The airport is located about 10 miles southwest of Doncaster town centre. Motorists should use the M18 to Doncaster and take exit N ° 4 out, the airport is then signposted and is only 3.5 miles from the junction.
Rail passengers take the trains to Doncaster railway station, and then use the daily Airport Arrow shuttle that provides hourly services. Journey times depend on the time of day, but are generally between 25 and 30 minutes. Alternatively, use the public buses 29, 91, X19, X30, 707 and 230 from the city centre to reach the airport.
