History:
The American low-cost airline Sun Country Airlines was founded in 1982 in Minneapolis by employees of the bankrupt Braniff International Airways. After an eventful 2 decades, in which another bankruptcy could be averted, the meanwhile profitable company now focuses on providing low-cost scheduled flights within the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean.
