Fleet :
The airline currently (Summer 2007) does not have its own fleet. The company has borrowed 4 Boeing 737-800s from South African Airways. In the near future it plans to develop its own fleet.

History:
The low-cost airline Mango Airlines was founded in 2006 in Johannesburg, as a subsidiary of the South African Airways. After the competition, the low-cost carrier Kulula had been able to establish its place on the South African flight market since 2001, the countries largest airline wanted to secure its position and founded it own no frill carrier in October 2006 . At firs the airline concentrated on profitable domestic routes.

Network:
Currently (Summer 2007), the company is still under construction. The aircraft is leased from the parent company. The offer of cheap connections is limited to routes from Johannesburg to Bloemfontein, Cape Town and Durban.
