History:
The British low-cost carrier Jet2.com was founded in 2002 in Leeds. After receiving its licence, it launched its first flight on 12th February of the following year. One year later, the airline founded two more chubs in Belfast and Manchester. Blackpool, Newcastle and Edinburgh followed in 2005.
