The English charter airline First Choice Airways operated by the British holiday travel operator First Choice Holidays was founded on 11th April 1987 in Manchester. At first the airline was called Air2000, but was renamed First Choice in 2000. The airline provides short and long haul flights. During the summer timetable 2007 the airline provided short haul flights from English airports and hubs such as Manchester, London, East Midlands and Glasgow to Almeria, Bodrum, Funchal, Kefalonia, Reus, Paphos and Monastir.
