The dba Luftfahrtgesellschaft mbH (dba) is the third largest German airline and has its seat in Munich. The airline may be found in the Internet under the name of "flydba".
The dba is a low fare business airline, which does not forgo service for low prices. In 2005, the dba was announced winner by the Stiftung Warentest (German equivalent of Which). In the "ADAC Traveller“ magazine’s airline test, the dba came 2nd in January 2006, only one point behind the winner Air Berlin. The excellent domestic network and extremely good value particularly struck the examiners. The German BA was again voted the most punctual and cheap airline and the airline with the best service in 1999 by readers of the magazine Capital.
Dba was founded in 1992 as a result of British Airways (BA) acquiring 49% of Delta Air, in order to strengthen its hold in the German flight market. The airline was then renamed Deutsche BA Luftfahrtgesellschaft mbH.... More information about DBA
