The French Corsican airline CCM Airlines was founded in 1989 in Ajaccio on Corsica by Air France and private investors. The main aim of the airline has since then been to transport Corsican passengers to the French mainland. The airline does not only serve the large airports of Paris-Orly or Marseille, but also flies to smaller airports such as Lille, Montpellier, Nantes or Quimper.
