Bearskin Airlines is a regionally operating Canadian airline from Sioux Lookout, Ontario. The airline has been in existence since 1963 and now has two further hubs in Thunder Bay and Sudbury along with its hub in Sioux Lookout, having been able to successfully expand in recent years, concentrating on airports such as Flin Flon, Kapuskasing, Red Lake or Timmins, which were not served by the larger airlines. In 1996 it was able to develop further by taking on more than 60% of NorOntair’s routes, as the airline was facing insolvency at the time.
