Since 2003 the Carrier has been part of Lufthansa Regional operating domestic flights for instance to Ancona, Genua, Olbia and Verona. The airline was established in 1989 by the Leali Steel Group. Since 2003 the Airline has been controlled by the German Carrier Lufthansa, as a member of Lufthansa Regional, which was a strategic cooperation between the five regional European Airlines Air Dolomiti, Augsburg Airways, Contact Air, Eurowings and Lufthansa City Line.
