Aero Asia International is the first private Pakistani airline and is based in Karachi. The low-cost carrier was founded in 1993 and was at that time owned by the Pakistani company Tabani. Until 2005, the airline only served domestic Pakistani airports, such as Islamabad, Multan, Peshawar, Sukkur and Lahore. Since 2005, the airline has also begun flying to Great Britain, Scandinavia and Bahrain. In 2006, the Airline was taken over in insolvency proceedings by the British regal group and has since then been in a state of restructuring. More information about Aero Asia International
