ATA Airlines is an American airline, which was founded in 1972 and is based in Indianapolis. At the beginning, the airline concentrated on providing charter flights and during the Gulf War in 1991 transferred American soldiers to Iraq. Since 1992 it has also been offering scheduled flights, serving more than 28 American airports such as Amarillo, El Paso, Lubbock, Omaha or Tulsa.
